Information Security Management Policy
Meiban Corp Holdings Pte Ltd is committed to preserving the confidentiality, integrity and operational availability of the data employed within the organisation by implementing a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS). We reaffirm this commitment to information security through:
- Establishing and implementing supporting policies in a wide variety of information security areas which will be an integral part of our ISMS to support this overarching policy;
- Ensuring that the confidentiality, integrity and operational availability of data is not compromised through preserving authorized restrictions on access and disclosure, preventing unauthorized modifications or destruction, and provision of timely and reliable access to and use of information and supporting IT assets to authorized users while supporting information-sharing and processing needs.
- Complying with laws, regulations and contractual obligations which are applicable to us in general and in particular to the ISMS;
- Continually improving the ISMS, and our information security performance;
- Reporting, investigating and addressing timely all breaches of information security, actual or suspected;
- Providing information security education, awareness and trainings for all persons working for or on our behalf; and
- Maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans to counteract interruptions to business activities and to protect critical business processes from the effects of major failures or disasters;
This overarching Information Security Management Policy and its supporting policies shall be reviewed at least once a year to ensure continuing suitability, adequacy, effectiveness and alignment with the strategic direction of the organisation. This shall be communicated and understood within the organisation and shall be made available to the appropriate audience, both within and external to us.
